Historic Kenwood

Known as the "neighborhood of the arts", Historic Kenwood is located just west of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, and is a charming neighborhood filled with historic bungalows and tree-lined brick streets. The Historic Kenwood neighborhood has one of the highest concentrations of craftsman style bungalows in Florida. Many of the homes date from the time of the Arts and Crafts movement in the1920s & 30s and it is listed on the National Registry of Historic Homes.

Because of Historic Kenwood’s high concentration of artists of all types, the City Council sought to promote the arts and artists by declaring the neighborhood an “Artist Enclave.” This status enables artists of the neighborhood to teach classes and sell artwork from their homes. At the  Historic Kenwood Artist Tour, selected works ranging from seasoned artist to the emerging artist will be on display. You’ll find work by painters, ceramicists, jewelers, photographers, sculptors, etc. Come for a visit and meet the artists who make the work!
