The Greater Seminole area is predominately residential with a commercial retail support component.  The area is known for good schools and low crime activity.  In recent years, St. Petersburg College opened the Seminole campus further enhancing the livability of this area.  Seminole’s proximity to the beaches, major airports and entertainment venues along with direct travel routes makes the area attractive for area residence.  

Seminole is undergoing a re-development with major mixed use development planned for the 60 acre Bay Pines property to include a hotel, a sit down restaurant, retail businesses & several hundred residential units, as well as the new Seminole City Center.

The new Seminole City Center will be a dynamic and unique retail development located in the heart of the City of Seminole in Pinellas County, Florida’s most densely populated county. The new Seminole City Center will be a “destination” and an “experience” and will contain multiple components, including a power/big box component, an entertainment/experience component as well as a necessity-based retail component.
